Mark 5 – Pelter
Mark-5 Pelter with Pneumatic-Electrical Drives feature robust stainless-steel construction with advanced control techniques for the finest skin quality.
Designed to remove the final pelt from the hind flank area of the sheep.
Powered by a pneumatic cylinder and electrical motor gearbox, the machine is operated by a foot pedal to actuate the cylinder and the 4 fingered capstan type drum via PLC and electronic motor inverter control.
Pre-assembly and testing ensure smooth installation on site, reducing plant down-time. The Mark-5 requires floor preparation.
